From the Preface, “This is the Genealogy of the Family Tree of William Ryan and his wife Maria E. Luby Ryan and their seven sons and three daughters. The oldest of the family, John A. Ryan, began to collect materials for the project in 1935…” Contains about twelve detailed biographies with photos, followed by detailed family tree.
Hardcover, measuring about 6 3/4 by 9 1/2 inches (note this type of cover material always seems to crack BUT nothing impacting integrity of binding). 199 pages followed by the family tree.

by Ross W. McCurdy. Comb spiral bound wraps, 8 1/2 by 11 inches with 78 pages reproduced on one side of a sheet only. Samuel McCurdy was born in Ireland in the early 1700s. A privately developed and reproduced work – definitely with information value to a McCurdy family member,

Begins with “Our First Canadian Ancestors, by Andrew Gingras, one page, followed by “Gingras Families in the United States” by Andrew Gingras, Manchester, New Hampshire, 9 pages. Remainder of book is listings as seen in image below.

Originally published in softcover, this copy is bound in black cloth (no stampings on spine or front cover) – 8 1/2 by 11 inches with 500 pages, over 10,000 birth, marriage, and death records of people with the surname “Roy.” Index of Spouse to cross-reference your searches. Biographical histories of four Roy ancestors: Simeon Roy; Nicholas LeRoy; Michael Roy; and the infamous Antoine Roy. Nice clean and tight copy that may never have been used, book block measures 1 1/2 inches thick.
