1918-1921 – THE WIRELESS AGE – THREE VOLUMES COMPLETE – 36 ISSUES

1918-1921 – THE WIRELESS AGE – THREE VOLUMES COMPLETE – 36 ISSUES

The Wireless Age is one of the very earliest radio communication magazines, running monthly from 1913 to 1925 when it was absorbed by Popular Radio Magazine.. The magazine was initially published by the Marconi Publishing Corporation,” Source – WorldRadioHistory.com

This is one of the more interesting publications I have found in 45 years of bookselling – impressive cover illustrations (some showing World War I military use of radio), interesting early radio articles and advertisements. Edited by J. Andrew White, and published monthly by WIRELESS PRESS in New York, I have three bound volumes – Volumes 6, 7, and 8 covering October 1918 through September 1921 (each volume begins in October, running for 12 months through September of the next year). I decided instead of selling separately that they should be kept together.

Each issue measures about 9 by 11 5/8 inches, and each has 48 pages except the last three which are 56 pages each — a total of 1,752 pages and 36 fantastic cover illustrations. Each volume has been bound in brown cloth (hardcover) – Volume 8 probably bound at a different time by a different binder was trimmed a tad on the outside edge, and is in a darker cloth. Enjoy the images below — shipping cost reflects the weight of almost 18 pounds. NOTE — the magazines have faint fold in middle (lengthwise) – probably were folded for mailing originally.

PRICE $365 for the Three Volumes
Shipping – $18.95 VERY HEAVY about 18 pounds for shipping
