It was overcast with the sun setting as I took these images, thus there is a blue tinge on the left, and the colors are not as fantastically bright as you will see when your children’s pop-up classic arrives. You will not be disappointed

by Robert L. May, Maxton Publishers, New York, produced by Spring House, Springfield, Mass. First copyrighted in 1939. Five pop-up sections each separated with two pages of text for the story. A few of the cut-out lines for the pop-ups are tight and as a result they have some weakness and folds, and may not operate as they should without help. Still and uncommon item, and fun for your holiday season.
