I wanted a TR3 since my neighbors first bought two in the late 1950s. During my Navy career almost bought one in South Carolina, and then almost again in Philadelphia. In 2009 I really got the bug to buy one. When in a model shop in St. Augustine, Florida, I spotted this model. The shop owner apologized for the high price explaining, “yellow is a rare color for this model.” I bought it anyway. And, in January 2010, I found my 1958 TR3A which I had been off the road since 1969. I now enjoy that and my 1960 MGA, so maybe moving this model onto the next owner will bring he or her luck in finding their perfect ride. I probably am the first one to ever open this box to take these images for you. ENJOY, yours, RAY
