LOVE LETTERS TO THE BEATLES – SELECTED BY BILL ADLER – 1964 – DRAWINGS BY OSBORN – SIGNED??
Published by G. P. Putnam’s Sons, New York, 1964, unpaginated, B&W illustrations by Osborn, text block measures about 5 3/4 inches square.
INSCRIBED – “To Sue, from the Beatles -” PROBABLY NOT, but if it is, good for you. I purchased this book about 35 years ago from Sue, and my guess is that her mother made the inscription to Sue when Sue was a young girl. I believe she would have been in her early teens in 1964. I have compared the handwriting to known Beatle examples — and this is not by the Fab Four. But a fun conversation piece that now must go to the next home. You will love reading the letters.
and with the dust jacket removed (I will be covering the dust jacket with a DJ protector upon shipping)
and, here is he inscription — don’t you wish…
and two sample two page spreads
the rear cover, and then the full dustjacket
