MUSIC BOX – RARE STEINBACH WOODEN ROTATING
CHRISTMAS TREE
circa 1984 — $250
I acquired this in about 1988, but have had it put away for over a dozen years. Time for someone else to enjoy for the holidays. This is a RARE Steinback item with a Reuge Music Box that plays Silent Night and drives the turntable thus rotating the tree and figures. Overall about 11 1/2 inches tall and 8 inches in diameter. I have seen a few for sale recently for $375 and up with expensive shipping.
Eight carved figures around the base, carved candles and ornaments on the tree, and little carved toys under the tree itself. Two pieces are loose – but I will let the next owner and conservator reattach them (my figures too big)
