THE SOCIETY OF KENTUCKY PIONEERS is for those individuals who have one or more direct ancestors who resided in Kentucky on or before 31 December 1800. Formed in 1982, the society allows recognition of those persons who have the proud heritage of a direct ancestor who resided within the limits of what is now the Commonwealth of Kentucky on or before 31 December 1800. Membership also provides knowledge among family researchers and historians of such ancestors of others and is an aid in developing your own family genealogy.
